We are currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant or Administrative Professional to join our overnight team. This position supports multiple departments and involves a dynamic mix of responsibilities. 

You will work directly with veterinarians, clients and our in-house veterinary assistants and technicians. This is a cross-functional role that offers variety, collaboration and the opportunity to be an integral part of our overnight operations.  If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats, this might be the role for you!

Primary Duties
• Reception duties (answering phones, greeting clients, obtaining payment information, setting up charts)
• Supporting patient admissions and discharges
• Running overnight emergency lab blood work
• Coordinating with veterinarians, clients, assistants and technicians
• Assisting with hands on patient care
• Stocking barns

Requirements
• Must have previous equine experience and equine handling skills
• Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner
• Ability to assist with equine patient admissions and discharges
• Experience in client service or front desk roles, preferable in a veterinary or medical setting
• Ability to work overnight or variable shifts
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn and retain information

Schedule
• Will vary between 5:30pm to 6am or 9pm to 7am three to four shifts a week
