Dr. David Alexander was raised on his family’s third-generation dairy farm in northwestern Pennsylvania. Growing up showing dairy cattle and Quarter Horses sparked his interest in veterinary medicine. He graduated from Gannon University in 2014 with his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences, and later earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University in 2020. He later completed two ambulatory internships at Rood & Riddle before joining the team as an associate veterinarian. 

His primary interests include reproduction, sport horse and emergency medicine. 

In his free time, he enjoys making custom leather goods, hiking with his yellow labs and live music.
