Dr. Ashton Broman was born and raised in Glendale, CA, where she first developed her love of horses at age three. While she enjoyed participating in other activities such as girl scouts and karate, her favorite pastime was riding in an equestrian drill team as a member of the California Rangers.

After high school, she earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Davis, where she later worked as a technician at the veterinary school. She was accepted to Colorado State University for veterinary school and graduated in 2018. Dr. Broman started a two-year ambulatory internship program at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital with Dr. Brad Tanner in 2018, where she discovered a passion for equine dentistry and foal medicine. Dr. Broman follows her love for dentistry and foal care in her position as a Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital ambulatory associate. In 2022, she began an equine dental residency under the mentorship of Dr. Brad Tanner to increase her knowledge in equine dentistry and provide the best possible dental care for her patients.

She loves to horseback ride, fly fish, read and cuddle up with her four faithful dogs.
