Dr. Seitz-Cherner joined the Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital Wellington team in July 2021. After attending veterinary school in Sydney, Australia, she completed a medicine fellowship and a rotating hospital internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington. Dr. Seitz-Cherner then worked at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital, where she undertook a residency in Equine Surgery.

Her professional interests include colic surgery, lameness examination and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Dr. Seitz-Cherner enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, yoga and kite surfing in her free time.
