IMAGING TECHNICIAN

Immediate opening at our Lexington practice for an Imaging Technician!

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working, self-starter to join our imaging department. Once trained, primary responsibilities will include performing MRI, CT, PET and Nuclear Scintigraphy scans as part of a dynamic team. Secondary responsibilities include assisting with ultrasonography, radiography, updating medical records, pre-operative preparation of patients and other procedures.

The imaging service is busy with a diverse caseload including foals, sport horses and racehorses. The variety and learning opportunities keep this job interesting and engaging. 

This full-time position requires candidates to have two years of horse handling experience other than their own horses. Experience with Thoroughbreds or Standardbreds preferred. Working well independently and with others is essential. Must be capable of lifting 50-75 lbs. consistently and standing for long periods. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.  We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday daytime
