THERIOGENOLOGY LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

The lab technicians will assist our theriogenologists with advanced reproduction procedures and assist with everyday laboratory responsibilities in our fast-paced reproduction department. This position is set in a team environment. It is a requirement to help others when available, including the Reproduction Center.

Primary Duties

• Procedure set for stallions and mares

• Semen processing

• Client communication

• Manage daily schedule of appointments

• Prepare shipments and semen storage

• Work with the manager and team at the reproduction center

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED equivalent

• Minimum of one-year equine reproduction experience with exposure to advanced procedures

• Current driver’s license

Skills Preferred

• Communication competence is a must

• Customer Service

• Attention to detail

• Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)

Schedule

• Day shift

• Full-time

• Includes weekends

• Some overtime required
